CALL FOR PUBLIC ART FOR FOLKLORE MUSEUM

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

In partnership with the Princeton Historical Society, we are accepting applications for a mural on the west-facing wall of the Princeton Folklore Museum.

Successful artwork will celebrate Princeton and its history with a design that is a fresh and bold example of public art.

WHERE: the west-facing back wall of the Princeton

Folklore Museum.

WHAT: a mural that feels like the best blend of Princeton’s past

and future, featuring content celebrating Princeton and its

history through a fresh, bold, contemporary design.

HOW: to apply, email a pdf with your design, sample work, budget,

and two references to hello@theparcdepartment.org. we allocated

$10,000 for this project. budgets should include the cost of

materials. PARC will provide lodging and any scaffolding or lifts.

WHEN: applications are open and will remain open until we find the

right design. we will start reviewing applications no sooner than

June 15 th

with hopes of installing the mural this year.
